Today, on March 19, as part of the “Youth Day” initiative held on Thursdays, a meaningful and open dialogue took place between the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, M. Madazimov, and the final-year students of the Pediatrics Faculty.
During the meeting, an in-depth discussion was held regarding the students’ professional training, employment prospects, and future career paths. The rector emphasized that to become a modern doctor, it is essential not only to have profound knowledge but also to master foreign languages, adopt innovative approaches, and engage in continuous self-improvement.
Furthermore, the rector elaborated on the essence of the Presidential Decree No. PQ-61 dated February 14, 2025, highlighting that extensive practical measures are being implemented in higher education institutions to ensure its execution.
In accordance with this decree, it is planned to establish regional branches of “Steps to the Future” centers at higher education institutions across the republic, aimed at assisting graduates in finding employment, facilitating self-employment, and supporting the launch of entrepreneurial activities.
Additionally, students were given important recommendations to make effective use of available opportunities, integrate theoretical knowledge with practical skills, and develop into competitive specialists suited to the demands of the modern labor market.
At the conclusion of the meeting, students received detailed answers to their questions and gained valuable guidance for their future professional activities; existing issues were also addressed.
