Andijan State Medical Institute is one of the leading universities in the country with a rich tradition and glorious history. All staff including the rectors of this memorial institution and all officials: professors, teachers, technical staff have been working faithfully to the traditions formed over the years. One of such persons is the photographer Odiljon aka Urokov, who has been covering the history of the institute for more than a quarter of a century.
Odiljon aka is known and remembered by the whole team of the institute, alumni, former students who came to the meeting for twenty-five, thirty, even thirty-five years, and is recognized as an honest, hardworking, dedicated person. This year, Odiljon aka Urokov, who is an ordinary man, but has found his place in the most noble profession – the training center for doctors, is celebrating his 60th birthday.
In 1982, after completing his military service, Odiljon aka got a job at the Andijan State Medical Institute. Since then, he has been working at the institute for 38 years. For more than a quarter of a century, no event, celebration, conference and gathering of the institute can take place without the participation of Odil aka.
Our hero loves his work, he has a devotion. Odiljon aka has a very large archive. To this day, he has been systematizing, capturing, and collecting photos and videos. For him, it is wealth, an invaluable history of the institute.
Odiljon aka’s luck is that he grew up in a harmonious and exemplary family, he was brought up well by his parents. Later, he became famous for working in a healthy environment in a team of noble professionals – doctors. He is the head of a happy family, a father of 2 children and a grandfather of 6 grandchildren.
