The Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 25, 2022 PP-215 “On additional measures to bring primary health care closer to the population and improve the efficiency of medical services” provides for a monthly allowance in the amount of 2 million soums to the monthly salary of all doctors working in family polyclinics and clinics in remote and hard-to-reach areas, as well as when buying a house on a mortgage, reimbursement from the local budget is provided in the amount of up to 50% of the cost of the house, but not more than 500 times the amount of the base calculation, in addition, doctors who have worked continuously for three years in remote and hard-to-reach areas, can be admitted to the clinical residency without testing.
However, the resolution does not provide information that the contract payment for women studying in clinical residency will be reimbursed from the state budget.
In the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 7, 2022 PF-87 “On measures to further accelerate work on systemic support for families and women” it is said that the tuition fee of women studying in the Master’s program, from the new academic year will be paid from the state budget. However, the decree also does not provide for the payment of the contract from the state budget to women studying in clinical residency.
