It is known that on April 30 of this year, an important event in the social and political life of our country – a referendum will be held by the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the draft of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
In this regard, today, on March 17, Andijan regional council of the “Adolat” Social Democratic Party (SDP) held a training seminar on the topic “Constitutional reforms for human dignity” in Andijan State Medical Institute. Activists of the party’s regional council, chairmen of city and district councils, BPT leaders, “Yosh adolatchilar” and media representatives took part in it.
The Rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, M. Madazimov, opened the event with his opening speech and stated that the idea of “For the dignity of man” was defined as a priority in our updated Constitution, and the principle of “state-society-man” which had been in effect before was changed to “man-society”. – the state”, that is, he said that he aims to put human interests above all the others.
After that Abdukamol Rahmonov, the deputy chairman of the Political Council of the “Adolat” SDP made a speech on the topic of the agenda. He reported that this issue is of great importance in the life of the new Uzbekistan which is being updated in every sphere. Over the past years, the issue of improving our basic law has been confirmed by public proposals. Now the draft law, which has been approved as a result of public discussion, will be adopted through a referendum.

During the training seminar, the participants received answers to their questions regarding the draft law. Tasks have been defined in connection with the holding of the referendum among the public and the participation of citizens based on the current legislation.
