Our national games are a symbol of our values and traditions. In order to promote our national games among students, to educate them in the spirit of patriotism, the Rector’s Cup was held under the motto “National Games – a guarantee of health.” At the event, along with all students, our rector M. Madazimov and pro-rectors, professors and teachers also took an active part. Tug of war, “White poplar, blue poplar?”, “Get out of the circle”, “Who is stronger?”, “The rabbit ran away”. Our national games, such as “Drawing”, were played with interest. Happily, these games also interested our foreign students. They also showed their strength and enthusiasm in the competitions.
According to the results of the competition, the 1st place was awarded to the students of the Faculty of Pediatrics, the 2nd place to the Therapeutic Faculty the 3rd place to the Dental Faculty and the 4th place to the students of foreign faculties. The rector awarded the 1st place winners with the Rector’s Cup and souvenirs to the active participants.
