Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Ural Federal University of the Russian Federation, doctor of medical sciences, professor T. Oboskalova and associate professor of this department A. Voronsova visited Andijan State Medical Institute. They were welcomed by the vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovations K. Salohiddinov, and a meeting on cooperation was held between the experts of both higher education institutions.
There was a discussion on topics such as increasing the knowledge and scientific potential of obstetricians-gynecologists. They also exchanged views on improving the quality of medical services, joint scientific work, and other similar issues.
Also, after the meeting, the guests gave a lecture on current problems of gynecology to the professors and teachers of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining of Doctors, master students and students of clinical residency, and the 5th year students of the Faculty of Pediatrics.
During the lecture, information was given on the main examination methods in the field of gynecology, new diagnostic methods and methods of treatment, as well as improving women’s reproductive health.
