The primary objective of the project is to investigate the potential for recording, processing, analyzing and remotely transmitting heart and lung sounds using the AUS Med mobile application and a digital stethoscope. The research examines the technical specifications of the digital device, the storage of audio data within electronic medical records, the comparison of examination results and the system's role in supporting clinical decision-making.

A key aspect of the project is the integration of digital auscultation with telemedicine and continuous medical education. This system facilitates remote consultations between physicians and enables students to observe the auscultation process in real-time, helping them develop the skills to distinguish between normal and pathological sounds.
