On the occasion of the 85-th anniversary of Islam Abdug’aniyevich Karimov, the first President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the 1st anniversary of the formation of “Zakovat” intellectual club in Andijan State Medical Institute, an individual contest on medical knowledge was organized among the students of Andijan State Medical Institute. The competition was composed of 2 stages, that is qualification and final stage. During the selection round which was organized in online format, students were asked 24 interesting and logical questions related to medicine. About 600 answers were sent by students to all the questions. As the result, 24 students were selected for the further participation in the contest.
The final stage of the tournament, held in the hall of scientific councils of the institute, consisted of team, semi-final and final games. In eachstage the participants were asked 8 interesting and logical questions related to medicine. The final stage was conducted by Sh. Abdurakhmonov, the coordinator of the “Zakovat” intellectual club of the institute.
As a culmination, the following 3 knowledgeable students became the winners of the Medical Knowledge Tournament. They are :
1. Azamatjon Shokirov – student of Pharmacy,Group 501, was awarded by the 3 basic scholarships;
2. Bekhruzbek Maksudov – student of General Medicine, group 543 was awarded by the 2 basic scholarships;
3. Fazliddin Rayimjonov – student of General Medicine, Group 473 was awarded by a basic scholarships.
Besides, all the students were presented by diplomas of different degree.
