Disease prevention is a priority for the health care system. In 2020, the direction of preventive medicine was opened at Andijan State Medical Institute. In this direction, the Specialized Council for the defense of a doctoral dissertation began its activities. Preventive Medicine School of ASMI occupies a worthy place in the world of medicine. And large-scale work is being carried out in this direction. Today’s conference on the topic “Application of high medical technologies in medicine” with the participation of scientists from the countries of the commonwealth has been included in the plan of Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The conference was held online. At the beginning, congratulations were read from the Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan A.M. Khadjibaev and the khakim of the region Sh.K. Abdurakhmanov. The rector of the ASMI M.M. Madazimov, the rector of the DSMU of the Russian Federation S.N.Mammaev, the rector of the TMA A.K.Shadmanov, the rector of Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute B.T.Daminov, the rector of Samarkand State Medical Institute Zh.A. Rizaev. In their speech, they stressed that such conferences will contribute to the further development of medicine and the strengthening of cooperation between higher education institutions. The plenary session was chaired by the rector of the institute M. Madazimov and the pro-rector on science and innovation G. Khojimatov. It was attended by 12 participants with their reports.
