At the initiative of the Social Democratic Party “Adolat” at the Medical Unit located in M. Kalandarov Street of “Intilish” CMC in Andijan district a comprehensive medical examination was conducted by leading professors and teachers of Andijan State Medical Institute in order to strengthen public health and organize qualified medical examinations.
28 employees of 15 specialties of ASMI participated in the medical examination. 647 residents of the district underwent medical examination and 265 ones were provided with in-depth medical examinations by the working group of specialists.
Twenty-four people who were diagnosed and required treatment at the time of the examination were given directions to the regional SMUs and 11 were given directions for treatment at the district hospital.
There were conducted 89 USIs and 94 ECGs and provided expert advice. In the course of the visit, 2 citizens of the district with disabilities were provided with home health care services.
During the event, a seminar was held on raising the level of medical culture of the population, the issues raised in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No.4063 and the issues of prevention of non-communicable diseases. Leaflets on prevention of diseases were distributed.
