On April 23, 2019, In order to ensure the implementation of five important initiatives undertaken by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for raising the spirituality of the youth and organizing their leisure time, as well as increasing the interest of young people in the theatre to higher educational institutions of Andijan region the regional stage of the festival of «Theatre of students» was held in Andijan State University.
The theater team “Shifokorlar” of Andijan State Medical Institute showed a piece from the play “Kucha bolalari” by Sharof Boshbekov, won in the nomination “The Best Performance” and receiving a direction to the regional stage of the festival.
The jury also awarded Zebiniso Omonova, the 3rd year student of Higher Nursing, in nomination “The best actress”.
