A forum for female students and their parents was organized at Andijan State Medical Institute.
During the forum, the rector of the institute, Madamin Madazimov, delivered a speech. He spoke in detail about the wide range of opportunities being created in the country to comprehensively support women, ensuring their access to quality education and professional development.
It was emphasized that large-scale reforms are currently underway in Uzbekistan to increase the coverage of women in higher education, enhance their academic potential, and strengthen their social activity. In particular, it was noted that additional state grants and quotas for university admission, various named scholarships, opportunities to participate in scientific projects, and preferential educational loans serve as a significant incentive for young women to pursue knowledge.
The rector also highlighted that Andijan State Medical Institute has created all the necessary conditions for female students to study, conduct scientific research, learn foreign languages, and showcase their talents. He called on parents to maintain close cooperation with the institute in the education and upbringing of their children, recognizing that today's youth are the main force determining the country's future development.
During the event, the institute's advisor to the rector on women's issues, G. Kholmatova, also spoke. She provided information about the work being done at the institute to support female students, study their problems, and ensure their social protection.
In her speech, she detailed the opportunities created for female students in their studies, organizing meaningful leisure time, active participation in sports and cultural-educational events, and involvement in scientific research activities. Furthermore, she gave a detailed overview of the systematic work being carried out to support talented and proactive girls, develop their leadership potential, and assist them in participating in various competitions and grant programs.
