Rector of Andijan State Medical Institute M.Madazimov held a meeting with the students of the Institute undergoing internship in medical institutions of Izboskan district in order to get acquainted with the practical training process and have an open dialogue with them.

During the meeting, the rector was interested in the activities of the students during their internship, their professional training and the practical skills they are acquiring. During the conversation, the reforms being implemented in the medical field today, the importance of modern medical technologies and innovative approaches, the opportunities created for young specialists and the attention paid to young people by the state were discussed in detail.

The rector also emphasized the need for students to apply theoretical knowledge they have acquired at the Institute correctly and effectively in the internship process, to approach each patient responsibly, to feel deeply the honor and responsibility of the medical profession. It was especially noted that communicating with patients in a sincere, courteous and compliant manner, following to the rules of medical professional proves to be important qualities for a future qualified doctor.
M. Madazimov advised the students to get benefits from practical training, study carefully the recommendations of experienced doctor-mentors, gain professional experience from them, thus, obtaining a solid foundation for future activities. The students also expressed their opinions on the questions that interested them and expressed their suggestions and comments on the internship process.




After that, the rector of the Institute and responsible employees inspected the conditions created in the district medical institutions, the activities of the practice bases and the practical training of students. The process of working with patients by students, the level of mastering practical skills and the educational and practical work carried out by the doctor-mentors assigned to them were studied in detail.

At the end of the meeting, the students were given the necessary recommendations and instructions on how to effectively use their internship period, work on themselves regularly, consistently study innovations in the field of medicine and become qualified doctors who will selflessly serve to protecting public health in the future.
