The opening ceremony for the 5th season of the "Pearl of Valley" international summer school, featuring students from foreign medical universities, was solemnly held at Andijan State Medical Institute.
This season, a total of 17 students are participating, representing various regions of Uzbekistan, as well as Russia, South Korea, and Kyrgyzstan.
During the opening ceremony, S. Salokhiddinov, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work, delivered a speech. He read out a welcoming address sent by the institute's rector, M. Madazimov, to the project participants, wishing them success and good luck in their studies.
Throughout the summer school, students will have the opportunity to reinforce their theoretical knowledge through practical sessions. Via simulation-based training organized around specially prepared real-life scenarios and various emergency situations, they will put their first aid skills and knowledge to the test.
During these sessions, future doctors are required, above all, to correctly assess the situation, maintain composure, and provide prompt and high-quality medical care to patients. Trainers meticulously observe and evaluate each participant's actions, analyze any mistakes or shortcomings made, and provide practical recommendations on how to eliminate them.
