From July 12 to 25 of this year, professors-techers, tutors, and students of Andijan State Medical Institute actively participated in an international summer internship and professional development program organized at Daegu Haany University in South Korea.
During the program, participants actively attended lectures, practical sessions, laboratory work, clinical observations, scientific-practical seminars, and experience exchange meetings conducted by qualified professors, instructors, and industry specialists. They also visited the university's research centers, clinics, and laboratories, gaining a close-up view of modern medical processes.
Special attention was paid to Herbal Medicine — medicinal plants and traditional Korean medicine. Participants received theoretical and practical knowledge regarding the healing properties of medicinal plants, their application in medicine, and the integration of traditional and modern treatment methods.
The international program enabled participants to study global practices concerning South Korea's advanced medical education system, innovative diagnostic and treatment methods, modern medical technologies, digital healthcare, and progressive pedagogical approaches.
This summer internship and professional development program has established a solid foundation for expanding international academic and scientific cooperation, developing participants' professional competencies, mastering advanced foreign experience, and implementing future joint educational and scientific projects.
