Dates: August 2–11, 2026. The 5th International Summer School "Pearl of Valley – 2026" was organized at Andijan State Medical Institute.
This season, a total of 17 students from Uzbekistan, Russia, South Korea, and Kyrgyzstan took part in the program.
During the summer school, young participants strengthened their theoretical knowledge in current areas of modern medicine and had the opportunity to apply it in real and simulated situations.
Particular attention was paid to transforming the students' theoretical knowledge into practical action. Through simulation-based training sessions that were maximally close to real-life scenarios, the youth tested their applied skills for making quick and correct decisions in complex cases, working as a team, and performing actions aimed at saving human lives.
Practical Training Modules Included:
First aid in trauma: bleeding control and immobilization;
Emergency medicine: CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), BLS (Basic Life Support), and ALS (Advanced Life Support);
Rescue operations: drowning rescue;
Emergency response: TRIAGE protocols, earthquake response, road traffic accidents (RTA), and fire emergency management;
Clinical exposure: familiarization with the Andijan branch of the Republican Scientific Center of Emergency Medicine;
Team collaboration: development of rapid decision-making, leadership, and responsible judgment skills.
At the conclusion of the summer school, the institute's rector, M. Madazimov, met sincerely with the participants, showing interest in their impressions and future plans. The rector encouraged the young people to pursue continuous learning, study modern medical achievements, and become dedicated professionals in their field in the future.
"Pearl of Valley – 2026" was not merely a 10-day educational course, but an international platform where knowledge, practice, experience, teamwork, and professional development converged in harmony.
