Rector of Andijan State Medical Institute M. Madazimov met with first-year students, who started the new academic year with high spirits, and engaged in an open, sincere dialogue with them.
At the beginning of the meeting, the rector congratulated the students on the new academic year and their new status as university students, discussing the responsible and honorable tasks that lie ahead of them. He particularly emphasized that the medical field was directly linked to human health and life; therefore, future doctors must work consistently on their professional development and acquire solid knowledge and practical skills from the very beginning of their education.
During the meeting, information was also shared regarding the extensive opportunities being created in the country for young people to pursue education, engage in scientific research, learn foreign languages, participate in innovative projects and showcase their talents.
Furthermore, the rector highlighted the Institute's special focus on improving the quality of education, integrating theoretical knowledge with practical application and training specialists based on modern medical technologies. During the meeting information was provided regarding the capabilities of the Institute’s Medical Simulation Center, Central Scientific Research Laboratory and Vivarium as well as the Institute’s clinic, which was set to open soon.
Special attention was also paid to the living conditions in student dormitories, the meaningful organization of students' leisure time and matters concerning scientific research and personal development.
The Rector encouraged students to participate actively in national and international academic Olympiads, competitions and scientific projects, emphasizing that the Institute's leadership supports the initiatives of talented and inquisitive young people.
“Extensive opportunities are being created for you at our institute. What matters most is making effective use of these opportunities, studying well, conducting research and setting ambitious goals for yourselves. We are ready to support every initiative of yours,” the Rector said.
The meeting took place in an atmosphere of open and sincere dialogue. Students asked questions of interest to them and shared their thoughts and suggestions.
