On September 17, 2026 a spiritual-educational event titled "The Value of Peace" was held at Andijan State Medical Institute in collaboration with law enforcement agencies. Participants received information from subject-matter experts on preventing threats such as terrorism, extremism, drug abuse and cybercrime as well as on raising awareness among young people and protecting personal data.

A spiritual-educational and outreach event aimed at increasing legal literacy and raising awareness about various threats and risks among youth was held at Andijan State Medical Institute in cooperation with the Andijan Regional Department of Internal Affairs.
The event, organized under the theme "The Value of Peace," was attended by colonel F. Berdiyev (the first deputy head of Andijan Regional Department of Internal Affairs, the head of the Operational Search Service), M. Madazimov (rector of the Institute), subject-matter experts, faculty members and students.

During the event special attention was paid to preventing various social phenomena and crimes that could threaten societal safety today and to fostering vigilance and awareness, particularly among the youth. Experts provided detailed information on preventing terrorism and extremism, the threats these pose to society and individual lives, protecting young people from the influence of foreign ideologies and the importance of valuing peace and stability.
Explanations were also given regarding the fight against the illicit drug trade, the negative impact of drug abuse on human health, families, and society, the responsibility of young people in combating this scourge.

Experts in the field offered useful recommendations on combating cybercrime, a pressing issue in today's digital age. Essential guidance was provided on exercising caution when using the internet and social media, protecting personal data and remaining vigilant against fraud and other cyber threats.
During the event, students asked the experts questions of interest to them and received relevant answers and recommendations.
