An international scientific and practical conference dedicated to current issues in dentistry and maxillofacial surgery was organized at the Andijan State Medical Institute in cooperation with the Russian Medical Academy of Continuing Professional Education (RMACPE), which is subordinate to the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

Local and foreign specialists, professors, and industry representatives participated in this conference on the topic "Current Problems in Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery," exchanging views on important areas of modern dentistry, innovations in treatment practices, and advanced experiences.

The conference was opened by the Rector of the Andijan State Medical Institute, M. Madazimov, with a welcoming speech, and K. Salokhiddinov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and Innovations. In his address, the institute's rector emphasized the importance of developing international scientific cooperation, implementing advanced foreign experiences into education and practice, and enhancing the professional potential of medical specialists.

Presentations were delivered by leading scientists from the Russian Federation:

🔹 Sadulla Ibragimovich Abakarov — Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor, laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation, Head of the Department of Prosthetics and General Dentistry at RMACPE.
In his presentation, he covered the topic: "Prosthetics using dental implants: continuity of the treatment process among specialists, principles of designing prosthetic structures, and error prevention."

🔹 Jarullakh Abdullakhovich Ashuyev — Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Professor of the Department of General Surgical Dentistry at RMACPE.
He delivered a lecture on: "The quality of applying a surgical protocol (protocol) in dental implantation: from the perspective of a doctor's professional competence and personal health status."

🔹 Alexey Viktorovich Basov — Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry at RMACPE.

During the presentations, special attention was paid to modern approaches in dental implantation, the correct design of orthopedic structures, adherence to standard protocols in surgical practice, the continuity between treatment stages, and the prevention of possible complications.

One of the key events of the occasion was the signing of a mutual memorandum of understanding between the Andijan State Medical Institute and the Russian Medical Academy of Continuing Professional Education.

This memorandum will serve to further strengthen scientific and educational ties between the two higher education institutions, facilitate the exchange of experience, and develop cooperation in improving the qualifications and retraining of professors and medical specialists.

It is planned to organize lectures, practical training sessions, seminars, and master classes in the future by involving the qualified professors and leading specialists of RMACPE at the institute.

Furthermore, within the framework of the conference, the professors of the Russian Medical Academy of Continuing Professional Education:

were awarded the honorary title of "Honorary Professor" of Andijan State Medical Institute.
