An important international meeting has been held in Andijan State Medical Institute. The Ambassador of the Republic of India Ms. Smita Pant visited the Institute and got acquainted with the conditions created for foreign, namely Indian students studying at the Institute.
The guests were warmly welcomed by the rector of the Institute M. Madazimov and the vice-rector for international relations F. Rasulov. During the visit, the delegation first visited the Institute's clinical hospital and got acquainted with modern conditions created there to strengthen the practical knowledge of students, treatment processes and the capabilities of the clinical base.
After that, the guests visited the newly built 2,000-seat educational building and got acquainted with its modern auditoriums, technical equipment and educational environment. The educational and practical processes organized in the Simulation and Certification Center proved to be of particular interest. It was especially recognized that this center allows students to develop knowledge and skills in conditions close to real clinical situations.
As part of the visit, fruitful negotiations were also held between the parties. The issues of creating more comfortable conditions for foreign students, improving the quality of their education and living standards were discussed. In particular, proposals and ideas were exchanged on enriching the library fund with modern and foreign literature, further improving living conditions in student dormitories as well as meaningful organization of students' free time.
This meeting was an important step towards further strengthening mutual cooperation, expanding international educational ties and increasing the attractiveness of Andijan State Medical Institute for foreign students.
