It is known, that on April 7, 2026, a videoconference was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev dedicated to priority tasks in the field of physical education and sports. At this meeting the achievements made in the field of sports over the past year, existing problems and shortcomings were analyzed in detail, important tasks for the future were identified.

In this regard, a meeting was organized at Andijan State Medical Institute with students and members of the sports club who regularly engage in sports and have achieved high results in various competitions as part of Youth Day. This meeting was held under the chairmanship of the rector of the Institute M. Madazimov; it was attended by active and talented students, including foreign youth.
