Nowadays, more than 1,300 foreign students are studying at Andizhan State Medical Institute. About 1,000 of them arrived from the Republic of India, and the institute pays special attention to creating comfortable educational and living conditions for them, supporting the celebration of their national holidays.
“Dhavai 4.0” — “festival of lights” holiday, which is becoming a tradition for Indian students, was held in the student dormitory as a vivid expression of such attention and care in an atmosphere of high spirits, good mood and unforgettable impressions.
The event was opened by the rector of the Institute M. Madazimov with his introductory speech and sincerely congratulations to all participants. In his speech he emphasized that such events play an important role in strengthening friendship between representatives of different nationalities, establishing an atmosphere of mutual respect and tolerance.
This colorful festival demonstrated the unique charm of Indian culture. Performances by foreign students, national songs, traditional dances and theatrical performances were met during the event with great interest and applause by the audience.
Also, the presentation of Indian national meals left a great impression on the guests and allowed them to enjoy unique tastes. The DJ party organized during the celebration gave the event a modern spirit and gave the youth an even more upbeat mood.
