“Application of highly innovative technologies in preventive medicine” scientific and practical conference has been held at Andijan State Medical Institute was devoted to discussing topical issues that play an important role in the development of modern medicine.

The participation of more than 45 leading scientists, professors and specialists from foreign countries of Russian Federation, India, Turkey, Germany, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan increased the prestige of the conference. The conference was opened by the rector of the Institute Madamin Madazimov. In his speech he emphasized that today the importance of preventive medicine is growing, opportunities for strengthening the health of the population are expanding through the introduction of innovative technologies.
After that the Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan Asilbek Khudayarov, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations Kungirotboy Sharipov and the khokim of Andijan region Shuhratbek Abdurakhmonov delivered congratulatory speeches. It was noted that the modernization of the healthcare system in the country, the development of preventive services and the widespread introduction of modern technologies proved to be the one of the priority areas of state policy.
As part of the conference, the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute Madamin Madazimov was awarded the title of "Honorary Professor" of the Dagestan State Medical University.
