Regarding the appeal published on social networks to Andijan State Medical Institute on the admission of graduates who have successfully completed technical schools to study on the basis of an interview and the determination of the amount of the fee-contract for them, the press service of the Institute informs the following.
The first paragraph of Chapter 1, paragraph 3 of the Regulation, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 17 dated on January 11, 2022 “On approval of the Regulation on the procedure for admission of graduates who have successfully completed technical schools to study on the basis of an interview to undergraduate programs of higher educational institutions”, provides that the amount of payment for training on a fee-contract basis is determined based on the amount of expenses associated with training one student.
Based on this requirement, preliminary calculations were made by relevant specialists at Andijan State Medical Institute on the costs associated with training graduates who successfully completed technical schools and were recommended for studentship on the basis of an interview for one academic year.
Based on the calculations, the payment-contract amounts for technical school graduates for one academic year were developed and submitted to the higher organization for consideration and approval in the prescribed manner.
It should be noted that the payment-contract amount is determined based on the costs associated with training one student, the organization of the educational process, and the requirements of current regulatory legal acts.
Currently, the relevant calculations on this issue have been submitted to the higher organization and after the final decision and the appropriate procedure are determined, students and their parents will be informed in the manner prescribed by law.
Andijan State Medical Institute pays special attention to ensuring students' rights to education, determining payment-contract amounts based on legislative requirements and ensuring the transparency of this process.
