Rector's congratulatory message

Dear compatriots!

Esteemed professors, teachers, scientists, mentors, and educators!

I sincerely congratulate you from the bottom of my heart on October 1st — Teacher's and Mentor's Day, which is widely celebrated in our country and brings boundless joy and pride to our hearts!

Today, we are taking bold strides towards great goals and milestones at a completely new stage of New Uzbekistan's development. The Head of our state is paying special attention to the development of human capital, improving the quality of education, and turning science and innovation into the most important factor of progress.

As our President has repeatedly emphasized, knowledge and skills are the most important capital for the country's development. In realizing this noble goal, the role of teachers and mentors is truly invaluable. After all, the knowledge imparted in today's classrooms, the worldview being formed, and the upbringing provided determine what our tomorrow will be like.

Today, nearly 12,000 students, including more than 1,500 international students, are studying at our institute. This testifies to the growing prestige and attractiveness of our educational institution on the international scale. Young people coming from various countries to study alongside us are a practical expression of the high trust placed in the modern educational environment, rich scientific potential, and qualified faculty formed at our institute.

Our achievements in the field of science are particularly commendable. The scientific potential of our institute has increased from 29.7% to 38.8%, and over the past five years, 194 PhD and 31 DSc (Doctor of Sciences) degrees have been defended. These figures demonstrate that the scientific research of our team is consistent and effective.

Furthermore, the number of articles published in the international Scopus scientific database has increased by more than tenfold. This is a vivid expression that the scientific research of our faculty and researchers is occupying a worthy place in the international scientific arena.

All of this is, above all, the fruit of the diligent work of our teachers who are devoted to science, faithful to their profession, and deeply care about the future of their students.

Dear teachers!

I congratulate you once again from the bottom of my heart on October 1st — Teacher's and Mentor's Day.

I wish you all robust health, family tranquility, peace of mind, and great success in your scientific and pedagogical activities. May your homes never lack prosperity and blessing, your hearts never lack love and inspiration, and your lives never lack joy and happiness!

May your arduous and honorable work always receive the highest recognition. May your research on the path of science, the growth of your students, and the achievements you attain always bring you pride and joy!

May your status as a teacher remain stable and honorable, your scientific and pedagogical activities be fruitful, and the growth of your students be everlasting!

Happy Teacher's and Mentor's Day — October 1st!

With respect,
Professor Madamin Madazimov,
Rector of Andijan State Medical Institute.
