A literary and educational event dedicated to reading was organized at Andijan State Medical Institute as part of the "Girls' Reading" project.
The event was attended by the institute's rector M. Madazimov, the rector's advisor on women's issues G. Kholmatova, staff from the Information Resource Center, and active female students. In their speeches, the speakers emphasized the role of books in human life, the importance of reading in shaping young minds, and the development of a reading culture as one of the pressing tasks of our time.
Additionally, during the event, a presentation was held for the "Book Renaissance" project, created by S. Anvarjonova, a first-year student of the Pediatrics faculty. This project is notable for its focus on broadening students' horizons, increasing their interest in reading, and developing public speaking and teamwork skills.
Within the framework of the project, students analyze the books they have read through various interactive stages. For instance, through engaging and innovative stages such as "Literary Duel," "Material Evidence," and "Literary Trial," the content of the books is recalled, character traits are discussed, and ideas from the works are debated. These methods encourage students to think freely, express their viewpoints logically, and engage in critical analysis.
During the event, female students shared their thoughts on the literary works they had read, analyzed their essence, and recommended them to their peers. Particularly, issues such as learning life lessons through books, forming human qualities, and achieving spiritual maturity were widely discussed.
