Today, on June 25th, a Scientific Council meeting for the month of June was held at Andijan State Medical Institute. The meeting was opened by the institute's rector, M. Madazimov, who spoke about the ongoing reforms in higher education and highlighted priority tasks related to improving the quality of education and the effectiveness of scientific activities.

First, following tradition, professors with academic titles and degrees, as well as talented young people who achieved high results in national and international competitions, were solemnly awarded.

Following this, reports from responsible persons on agenda items were heard and relevant discussions were conducted.

Initially, B. Tursunov, Head of the Master's Department, presented information regarding the status of master's students' dissertation work, the quality of scientific research, and their completion within set deadlines. The work being done in this area and existing tasks were discussed.

Subsequently, A. Pakirdinov, Head of the Quality Control Department, provided detailed information on the results of a special state accreditation conducted at the institute, the outcomes of a social survey among students, and national ranking indicators along with their calculation methodology. During the discussion, particular attention was paid to further improving the quality of education and refining current practices based on student feedback.

On the next item on the agenda, B. Rakhmonov, Chief Physician of the ASMI Clinic, reported on the process of departments moving into new buildings due to the nearing completion of reconstruction works at the clinic, identified shortcomings, and measures being taken to address them.

At the conclusion of the meeting, decisions were made on the issues discussed, and specific tasks and instructions were assigned to those responsible.
