Today, the Rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, Madamin Madazimov, met with Professor Oliver Hakenberg, Director of the Urology Clinic at the University of Rostock, to discuss a complex surgical operation performed yesterday at the institute's clinic and prospects for future cooperation.

During the conversation, special attention was paid to the progress of the radical cystectomy performed on a patient diagnosed with bladder cancer and the subsequent medical monitoring.

Furthermore, the parties exchanged views on further developing cooperation with foreign specialists, widely implementing modern urological surgical techniques in practice, and enhancing the professional skills and experience exchange opportunities for local specialists.
