The Institute-level round of the “Student Theater Studio” competition was organized among the faculties of Andijan State Medical Institute. This event was aimed at uncovering the creative potential of students, supporting their talents and fostering the development of stagecraft and acting skills.

Teams from Therapeutic, Pediatric, Dentistry and Pharmacy Faculties of participated in the competition, presenting a variety of performances, including stage sketches on open themes, creative acts, humorous segments and unique artistic interpretations.

The event was opened with introductory remarks by G. Kholmatova, the Institute’s first vice-rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Enlightenment Work. She emphasized the importance of developing students' creative potential, ensuring spending their leisure time meaningfully and enriching the spiritual worldview of young people through the art of theater.

Throughout the competition, the stage performances presented by the faculty teams were evaluated by a jury based on criteria such as the substance and essence of the work, the relevance of the chosen theme, the quality of the stage interpretation, acting proficiency and overall performance caliber.

Based on the results of the competition, the following teams and participants have been declared winners:

“The Most Active Student Theater Group” — The “Farm 1” team from Pharmaceutic Faculty.
“Relevant Theme and Theatrical Interpretation” — The “Pedstar” team of Pediatric Faculty.
“The Best Performance” — The “Sadaf” team from Dentistry Faculty.
Individual Awards:
“The Best Actress” — Mubinaxon Muhammadjonova, a student from Dentistry Faculty.
“The Best Actor” — Javohir Arslonboyev, a student from Therapeutic Faculty.

The award ceremony for the competition winners and recipients of individual honors will take place during a celebratory event held on November 17th, in observance of International Students' Day.
