The international conference “Central Asia – European Union University Congress 2026” is currently being held in Samarkand.
This prestigious event is being held with the participation of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Conference of Rectors of Polish Academic Higher Education Institutions (CRASP), the IREG Academic Ranking and Excellence Observatory, and higher education institutions in Samarkand.
The delegation of the institute, headed by the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, M. Madazimov, is also participating in this prestigious event.
Currently, lectures are being given by scientists, specialists, professors and teachers in several sections.
After the presentations, the congress discussed issues of expanding international cooperation in the field of higher education, implementing joint educational programs and scientific projects, developing academic mobility, and introducing innovative approaches, and a number of agreements were signed between higher education institutions.
In particular, the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, Madamin Madazimov, and the rector of the GDANSK University, Piotr Stepnowski, signed a memorandum on the development of the biomedical field, exchange of experience within the framework of academic mobility, opening joint educational programs, and strengthening cooperation.
