An important video meeting was held between the leadership of Andijan State Medical Institute and the College of Medicine and Pharmacy in Zunyi, People's Republic of China. At the meeting, the representatives of two sides discussed in detail the issues of developing mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of science, education and medicine.
The meeting was attended by the Vice President of the College, Zhang Biao, and heads of departments, and the Institute was represented by the Vice-Rector, K. Salohiddinov, and heads of departments.
The following main areas were identified during the negotiations:
🔹 Traditional and rehabilitation medicine. The parties agreed to expand cooperation in the areas of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, tuina therapy, and rehabilitation. In this regard, joint educational programs, faculty exchanges, and clinical training programs are planned. The development of a special rehabilitation program for the Fergana Valley was also discussed.
🔹 Pharmacy and pharmacognosy. The issues of exchanging medicinal plant resources, studying the experience of their use, conducting joint scientific research, and organizing medicinal botanical gardens were considered.
🔹 Academic exchange and scientific research. It was planned to strengthen cooperation through online lectures, joint seminars, scientific projects, and the preparation of articles.
🔹 Use of educational resources. The parties agreed to improve the quality of education through the exchange of curricula, educational standards, scientific literature, and library resources.
This meeting is expected to bring cooperation between the two institutions to a new level and serve to introduce innovative approaches in the field of medicine.
