On the occasion of the International Family Day, celebrated on May 15, Andijan State Medical Institute hosted a spiritual and educational roundtable discussion under the theme "Family — The Pillar of Society, the Home of Love, Education, and Spirituality."
The main goal of the event was to strengthen the role and significance of the family in society, and to instill in young people the concepts of a healthy family, spiritual values, and family responsibility.
The event was opened by G. Kholmatova, the Rector's Advisor on Women's Issues at Andijan State Medical Institute. In her opening speech, she emphasized that the family is the cradle of human development, compassion, upbringing, and national values, and that a healthy and strong family is the most important foundation for a peaceful and prosperous society.
Mokhina Khojamberdieva, a judge from the Economic Court of Andijan City, delivered a lecture on the topic "Marriage and Family — Under the Protection of the Constitution and Laws." The lecture provided an in-depth discussion on the ongoing reforms in the country aimed at strengthening the family institution, protecting the rights of women and children, and ensuring the rule of law in family relations.
During the roundtable, participants shared their thoughts and opinions on mutual respect within the family, child upbringing, the spiritual environment, and the role of the family in societal development. The sincere and open discussion left a lasting impression on all participants.
