Do you care about the state language? Do you follow the rules of the state language in every work? Maybe you want to turn the Uzbek language into a computer language? Then this competition is for you!
The Uzbek Language Development Fund under the Cabinet of Ministers, the Department for the Development of the State Language of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations, the Institute of Uzbek Language, Literature and Folklore and the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Uzbek Language, Literature and Folklore Institute announce the "Jonajon Uzbek tilim" (“Beloved Uzbek Language”) competition in order to increase the status of the Uzbek language in our social life and support and encourage initiatives that serve the full introduction of the state language.
The competition will be held in the following areas:
-The best scientific research highlighting the specific features, problems and solutions of the Uzbek language;
- The best software product aimed at digitizing the Uzbek language;
- the best artistic and creative work glorifying the rich possibilities of the Uzbek language;
- the best material published in the media on the state language;
- the best video dedicated to the promotion of the Uzbek language;
- the best practical work serving the international popularization of the Uzbek language;
- the best scientific and creative work created by foreign friends of the Uzbek language.
Projects in each direction of the competition will be accepted until September 20, 2026.
Candidates participating in the competition should send information about themselves (name, patronymic, surname, place of work, place of study) and an electronic copy of their scientific and creative work to the Foundation or to the official email address (Uz_til_jamgarma@umail.uz) and to Telegram social network (@Jonajontilim_bot).
The competition can be participated individually or as a team.
The winners will be awarded a cash prize of 50 times the base calculation amount, a diploma and souvenirs, which will be solemnly awarded as part of the events organized on the eve of October 21 - the Uzbek Language Day.
Note: The winning participants will not be able to participate in the competition for the next three years.
