As you know, a forum of rectors of higher education institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea was held yesterday in our capital. K. Salahiddinov, Vice Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations of Andijan State Medical Institute, F. Rasulov, Head of the International Cooperation Department and a group of representatives participated in the forum and signed a memorandum of cooperation with several Korean universities.
One of them is the Catholic University of Korea, and a memorandum of understanding was signed between the two institutions. Today, on March 30, Mr. Doo Won Kang, director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Catholic University of Korea, visited our Institute with the aim of broader discussion of the issues agreed in the memorandum and to get to know our activity.
Rector of Andijan State Medical Institute M. Madazimov met with Korean partners and introduced the educational processes at the institute, the conditions created for students, simulation medical centers. During the conversation, the parties discussed issues such as cooperation in the areas of Medicine, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, academic mobility programs among the students, organization of professional development for professors and teachers and organization of lectures and master classes by Korean professors at our institute. In addition to the memorandum, several other documents were signed at the meeting.
At the end of the meeting souvenirs were presented to the guests.
