On November 24, 2018, the head of the Department of Ophthalmology at St. Petersburg State Medical University, Russia, Brijskiy Vladimir Vsevolodovich visited Andijan State Medical Institute.
On the same day V. Brijskiy met with the rector of ASMI M.Madazimov, talked about educational-methodical, scientific-practical as well as cooperation work, carried out in the institute and got acquainted with today’s activity of the university. In future, they agreed on further strengthening bilateral cooperation and signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
After that, a conference was held at the conference hall of Bogishamol hotel in Andijan with participation of the leading Russian expert on the topic «Dry eye syndrome is a disease of civilization». The conference was attended by professor and teachers of the Department of Ophthalmology of ASMI, specialists in the field of Ophthalmology, holders of Master’s degree and clinical interns.
During the event V. Brijskiy delivered a lecture on the origin, diagnosis, pathogenesis and drug use in case of of dry eye syndrome, modern methods of treatment.
After the lecture, questions and answers were discussed with the participants of the conference.
