On February 5, 2020 in the conference hall of Andijan State Medical Institute an international online conference was held on «Actual problems of modern maxillofacial surgery» with the participation of Tashkent State Dental Institute, Andijan State Medical Institute and prestigious medical universities of Russia.
This international online conference was attended by professors and teachers of the Department of Surgical Dentistry and the Departments of the faculty of Advanced Training of Physicians, the 3rd and 4th year students of dental faculty.
The conference included online video lectures on topical issues of maxillofacial surgery. In particular, head of the Department of Surgical Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery at Kazan State Medical University, Ph.D. professor S.S. Ksembaev presented a report on “Status and prospects of using sorption-application therapy and dentofacial training in the clinic of maxillofacial surgery and pediatric dental practice”. O.Yu.Petropavlovskaya, the associate Professor of the Department of Surgical Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery of the First St. Petersburg University named after academician Pavlov delivered a lecture on “Modern ideology of the treatment of infectious inflammatory diseases of maxillofacial region”, head of the Department of Surgical Dentistry of Andijan State Medical Institute, PhD Toshboev M.G. made a presentation on “Optimization of surgical treatment with burns in the face and neck”, head of the Laboratory of Experimental Biophysics at Tashkent State Dental Institute, Associate Professor N.V. Khramova presented a report on “Cellular technologies for optimizing the healing of skin wounds”.
Each report provided important information on the most pressing issues in the field of maxillofacial surgery and on the modern, innovative approach to the diagnosis and treatment of maxillofacial diseases.
Conference organizers have agreed to hold such online conferences on a regular basis.
