As the part of the 35th anniversary of our Independence, the “Thursday is the Youth Day”, “90 Significant Days” projects as well as rector’s visiting reception, Andijan State Medical Institute organized a thorough medical examination in “Yangiobod” village medical station of Bustan district.

During the event, 245 residents underwent medical examinations by 18 types of specialists with the participation of qualified professors, teachers and doctors of our institute. The health status of citizens was comprehensively studied and the necessary diagnostic examinations were carried out.

During the checkup, 38 citizens underwent an ultrasonic examination, 41 citizens underwent an ECG examination, patients requiring additional treatment and in-depth examination were referred to 6 district medical institutions and 3 regional specialized institutions. Free medicines were also distributed to the population, each patient was given individual recommendations and necessary advice based on the results of the medical examination.

This auspicious event served to increase the medical culture of the population, early detection and prevention of diseases as well as bring qualified medical services closer to the population.
Such noble initiatives for the health and well-being of people proves to be another vivid example of how the principle of "For the sake of human dignity" is being implemented in our country.
