A meeting was held under the leadership of the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute M. Madazimov dedicated to the issues of widespread promotion of a healthy lifestyle among the population.

It was attended by the vice-rector for medical (practical) work B. Mirzakarimov, deans of faculties, heads of departments and responsible professors and teachers.
The meeting set the tasks of reaching remote areas of the region and explaining to the population the importance of adhering to a healthy lifestyle, proper nutrition, increasing physical activity, giving up harmful habits and regularly participating in preventive medical examinations.

It was emphasized that it is necessary to organize regularly promotional events with the participation of professors and teachers of the department, students and volunteer youth, provide recommendations on the topic to the population and distribute promotional materials.
The meeting also discussed the issue of ensuring the employment of graduates of the Institute. Relevant instructions were given to those responsible to assist in the placement of graduates in their specialty, strengthen cooperation with medical institutions, and provide information about available vacancies.

At the end of the meeting, relevant instructions were given on the quality and timely implementation of the tasks set.
