On June 30 of this year, a meeting was held at Andijan State Medical Institute with the doctoral students, affiliated doctoral students, and independent researchers, led by K. Salohiddinov, the Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations of the institute.
During the meeting, the vice-rector emphasized the importance of fully implementing the tasks outlined in the resolutions No. 304 dated May 22, 2017, and No. 696 dated November 6, 2020, of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding the further improvement of the postgraduate education system and ensuring the transparency and effectiveness of the process of training scientific degree holders.
Additionally, it was explained that all processes carried out in the postgraduate education system must be conducted through a unified electronic system for coordinating postgraduate education, as stipulated in the Cabinet of Ministers’ resolution No. 696 dated November 6, 2020. Currently, detailed information was provided about the tasks that applicants must fulfill on the unified electronic system level at daraja.ilmiy.uz.
The meeting highlighted that applications are accepted, analyzed, and exam results entered through the unified electronic platform “daraja.ilmiy.uz.” It was noted that the educational stages of researchers are defined, research topics are entered, scientific supervisors and advisors are assigned, and monitoring is conducted regularly, with quarterly oversight of applicants’ activities.
Practical recommendations were also given regarding the formalization of dissertations according to the requirements of the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC), the procedure for publishing scientific articles, and publishing articles in foreign scientific journals indexed in the “Scopus” database.
During the meeting, participants received comprehensive information regarding their inquiries related to completing doctoral and philosophy doctoral dissertations.
