Dear compatriots and esteemed colleagues,
I sincerely congratulate you and our entire nation on the joyous occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Ensuring the rule of law in our society and protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens is our sacred duty. This duty and our rights are enshrined in our Constitution, which serves as the fundamental law of our Republic, just as it does in countries around the world.
On April 30, 2023, a referendum was held in which a new version of the Constitution was adopted, coming into effect on May 1.
The new Constitution guarantees the dignity of individuals and their rights and legal interests, which further strengthens our country’s position as a truly democratic, legal, social, and secular state within the global community.
Moreover, special attention has been given to the healthcare sector, education, and youth issues in our Constitution. Our institute’s team and students have responded commendably to these opportunities, achieving numerous successes. The increasing number of these achievements year by year brings us immense joy.
On this occasion, I wish you all, especially our future heirs —students and youth—good health, academic success, and peace and harmony! May our skies always be serene, and may our lives be prosperous!
Madamin MADAZIMOV,
Rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, Professor.
