Khakim (governor) of the region Shuhratbek Abdurahmanov visited the hostel of Andijan State Medical Institute to study the living conditions of students.
There are more than 800 young people in the dormitory of the institute, which previously housed 500 students. This place has all the facilities for them. There are comfortable bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms. There is also an information and communication technology room, a library, “Five Initiatives – Five Opportunities” centers for students to spend their free time meaningfully, and weaving, sewing and cooking centers for girls.
The head of the region first talked to the students and talked about the need to accommodate students, especially female students. He also answered the questions of young people in detail.
The khakim also had a special talk with the talented students and enjoyed their art. Encouraged by this attention, the girls expressed their satisfaction with the facilities.
