An event dedicated to December 1, the Day of Fight against AIDS, was held in the Conference hall of Andijan State Medical Institute. It was attended by the epidemiologist of the regional AIDS center G. Polvonbaev, assistant of the Department of Infectious Diseases Yu. Botaboev, M. Yunusov and senior lecturer of the department M. Pulatov.
The event provided information on HIV and AIDS, their causes and complications. The staff of the Department of Infectious Diseases also explained the relevance of HIV and AIDS, modes of transmission, clinical signs, treatment measures based on presentations and practical training.
