An event was held in Andijan State Medical Institute on the occasion of December 1 – World AIDS Day. It was attended by J. Mamadaliyeva, the specialist of the regional center for the fight against AIDS, A. Abduhalimov, the head of the department of youth issues, spirituality and enlightenment of the institute, M. Polatov, the teacher of the department of infectious diseases.
Those who spoke at the event gave information about HIV and AIDS, the ways of its transmission, the preventive measures implemented in our country against the spread of these diseases, and the improvement of medical culture among the population in order to prevent these diseases.
At the end of the event, the students got the necessary answers to their questions about the topic from experts.
