Faculty of Pharmacy of Andijan State Medical Institute organized the party “Love your country like our ancestor Babur” dedicated to the 540th anniversary of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, the king and poet of Andijan.
S. Salohiddinov, the first vice-rector for youth affairs and spiritual and educational work, Sh. Bozorov, the dean of the faculty, and the deputy deans of the faculties participated in the ceremony, which was organized as a creative party, as members of the jury.
Opening this solemn ceremony, the first vice-rector S. Salohiddinov spoke about Z.M. Babur’spersonality, his exemplary and creative life. He emphasized that the process of learning Babur’s creation perfectly is a vital program for young people. After that the contest started. Two teams participated – “Followers of Babur” consisting of students of the 1st course of the Faculty of Pharmacy and “Kohinur” consisting of 4th course students of the same faculty.
The teams demonstrated their talent and knowledge in 5 terms: introduction, question and answer about the life and work of Z.M. Babur, comment on a recited ghazal, a performance fragment and portrait drawing. In all conditions, students participated actively following and fixing their scores.
Also, the auditorium was inspired by the songs performed by the talented students of our institute. The team “Followers of Babur” has won. At the end of the ceremony it was awarded with a certificate of honor and souvenirs presented by the administration of the institute.
