A meeting on “Prevention of crime and rights disorders among young people” was held in Andijan State Medical Institute with the participation of students’ parents.
S. Salohiddinov – the first vice-rector for youth affairs and spiritual education, H. Zokirov – rector’s adviser, G. Kholmatova – rector’s adviser for women and girls affairs, D. Rakhmanov – Andijan City first prosecutor assistant, B. Arslonov – Andijan city police chief, J. Khojayev – crime prevention inspector, deans’ assistants of faculties, tutors, students and their parents participated in this meeting.
The meeting was opened by S. Salohiddinov, the first vice-rector for youth affairs and spiritual educational work of Andijan State Medical Institute. Students’ parents were informed about the work that will be done together regarding the discipline, manners and dress code of their children. In addition he emphasized that according to the Decision No. 88 of the Ministry of Health dated March 24, 2022 students should follow the rules of rector’s order No. 160-T .
After that the speakers mentioned that the issue of preventing terrorism, religious extremism and fanaticism is one of the biggest problems of today’s globalization era. Due to the fact that the participation of young people in the current crimes was evident, they appealed to the parents as representatives of the public council to strengthen their control. Also prevention of cases related to corruption and narcotic drugs, as well as clarification of their negative consequences were discussed.
In turn, a representative of students’ parents spoke about the conditions created for the students by the institute, and expressed his gratitude to administration.
