On May 23 of this year, coordinators of the German Cooperation Organization (GIZ) in Uzbekistan, Andijan State Medical Institute and Rostock University professors met through the Zoom platform.
Rector of Andijan State Medical Institute M. Madazimov, Vice Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations K. Salohiddinov, Head of International Cooperation Department F. Rasulov took part in the meeting.
During the meeting, the issues of organizing admission processes for the master’s program in the field of medical biotechnology, launching a new project in the field of Uro-Oncology, and bringing modern endoscopes from Germany to our institute based on the ongoing Endo-Urology grant were discussed.
The rector of the institute invited the delegation of Rostock University to our institute in September. Also, within the framework of the “Uzbekistan-Germany Medical Forum” to be held in Samarkand on May 26-27 of this year, he offered to renew the memorandum agreements of the institute with GIZ and Rostock University, which was approved by our German partners.
