Today, May 3, the Diwali holiday was held in the student dormitory of Andijan State Medical Institute for the 1st-year students of the International Faculty.
It was attended by the vice-rectors of the institute, the rector’s adviser on women’s issues, deans of faculties and international students. Speakers at the event congratulated the students on this holiday and wished them success in their studies and work.
After this, it was the turn of the musical part of the holiday. Indian and Pakistani students performed songs and dances. As a holiday gift, students from Uzbekistan and Karakalpakstan presented a “bouquet” of songs and dances. The holiday was celebrated in a cheerful mood.
