Regarding the ongoing work on providing students with students’ housing and rental apartments in Andijan State Medical Institute we announce that Andijan State Medical Institute owes 4 student hostels with 1554 beds. One of them was built on the basis of public-private partnership with 500 seats. By the end of 2024, another 400-bed students’ accommodation based on public-private partnership is scheduled to be commissioned.
There are branches of the information resource center in the student accommodation buildings of our institute. The buildings of the students’ hostels are equipped with living rooms, cultural recreation rooms with modern, soft furniture. Kitchens are equipped with tables and chairs and fully meet sanitary and hygienic requirements. There are “Five important initiatives” rooms for students to spend their free time meaningfully, a sports hall, sewing club rooms for students to learn crafts.
From August 5, 2024, the “Information center on students’ residences and rental apartments” started operating in the Institute based on the model given by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation. “Info areas” have been established in the center, where information is available conveniently for students and parents.
To date, the address list of 149 rental apartments has been formed. More than 1100 students were accommodated there.
At the moment, a total of 1339 online applications from newly admitted 1st, 2nd and senior-year students have been received via edu.uz platform. The situation is processing now.
