In our country, systematic work is underway to improve the quality of medical care and increase the effectiveness of primary health care. This, in turn, makes it possible to improve the quality of reforms in this area and allows expanding the coverage of medical care to the population. A number of measures are also being taken to strengthen the reproductive health of the population, expand the coverage of patronage care and conduct medical examinations.
According to the order and instructions of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on June 11, 2020, leading specialists of Andijan State Medical Institute: MD, Professor D. B. Asrankulova, MD , associate professor B.R. Abdullajonov, associate professors W.T. Abdukodirov, D.N. Kholmatov, R.Sh. Saifuddinova, B.M. Vakhobov were sent to provide professional medical care to the remote area of Sokh, Ferghana Region.
They provide professional medical care in the central district hospital, in 2 family polyclinics, 5 rural medical centers.
In addition, for the first time in the region, a team of medical specialists from ASMI conducted 2 complex gynecological surgeries and over 1200 medical examinations of patients who were under medical observation.
Also, medical examinations were carried out at home of 102 patients with disabilities and 26 low-income families. Leading experts continue to do charity work.
