“Health is the greatest wealth,” say wise people. In fact, when your body is free from pain, you can think, you can feel the pleasure of life. Beginning from January 6, residents of 17 cities and districts of Andijan region have been provided qualified medical services by 34 qualified professors and teachers of Andijan State Medical Institute in order to improve their health.
670 citizens were medically examined at the addresses assigned by the authorities. Doctors visited 131 households and gave information on medical culture and health to the population. Also, 22 citizens with disabilities have been undergone medical examination, 34 were given directions to the district medical center, 15 persons – directions to the regional multidisciplinary medical center and ADTI clinical hospital.
16 specialists of the institute conducted detailed medical examination of 418 agricultural workers and provided them necessary advice and recommendations as a part of the “Agricultural Workers’ Health Month” action held throughout our country to the population in the Department of Culture (Pakhtaabad TTB), Oktom, Urganji, Darvozakum, Tortol MFIs in the 37-OP area (Ulug’nor TTB), and the New Life MFY in Shahrikhan TTB area.
The rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, professor M.M. Madazimov visited the address in order to study the performed work in the Boykechik location of Chorsu MFY, Pakhtaabad District, which is attached to the institute. The officials reported about the work done in the location until today. According to the report, the socio-economic status of 65 households in this location was analyzed, 5 citizens who applied for work in the tailoring shop have been employed there, practical assistance was provided to the citizens included in the “Women’s Register” and “Young Population Register. In addition, citizens in need of medical examination and assistance have been checked; they were given consultation and directions to medical associations.
The rector of the institute met with the representatives of the population and listened to their problems. He assigned related tasks to responsible persons.
